Joe Earl Rogers Sr., 78, entered into rest on Monday December 31, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosezetta Rogers; his Step Father, Willie Dutschke; His Mother, Isabelle Dutschke Sherman; He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and he retired from Rohm and Haas Chemical Company and South Dixie Fire and Rescue. He is survived by his sons, Joe Rogers, Jr., Billy Rogers (Kathy), Terry Rogers (Amy), Ken Rogers, (Beverly); Brother, Vestal Rogers, Jr., (Lynn); 18-grandchildren and 17- great grandchildren; His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11am at the Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel, with Entombment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3-8pm at the funeral home.
