Joe Perkins, 82 of Louisville, passed away Friday, June 6, 2014 at his home.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, a member of the VFW, a retiree from Brown Foreman and loved going to Churchill Downs.
Joe is preceded in death by his mother: Ella Catherine Clark.
He is survived by his Aunt: Lou Schmidt (Ray), a cousin, Venita Portman and his special friend, Sue Bean. Joe is also survived by many other family and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate Joe’s life will be conducted at 2pm Monday, June 9, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 12 Pm Monday, until service time.
