Joe Gramig,Jr., 84, passed away February 10, 2023 with his family by his side. Roy Joseph "Joe" Gramig, Jr. was born November 9, 1938 to Agnes (Hartlage) Gramig and Roy Gramig, Sr. who preceded in death. He was also preceded in death by his Sisters, Jean Gramig, May Hancock, Deloris Wiseman, Mary Agnes Dedrick. He is survived by his loving wife of 41years, Kay (Felker) Gramig; His Children, Pam (Phil) Henry, Kellie Hagan, and Todd (Carol) Hoben. His 8 grandchildren, Audra, Jordan, C.J, Kyle, Cameron, Nathan, Amber and Blake; 7 great grandchildren, Hadley, Keegan, Peyton, Avery, Brock, Kane and Haven; 4 great great grandchildren, Arianna, Jace, Hayden and Macy. His Loving Sister, Florence Crawford; His Sister in law Sharon (Ronnie) Just and their family. And many other extended family members and so many friends. Joe was a proud graduate of Flaget Class of 56. He loved Hunting, Softball, fishing and family gatherings. He was a Coach for Kentucky Bourbons and his beloved Jesse’s. And too many other teams to mention. Most recent the Isabell Team. He was in Louisville and Ky Softball Hall of Fame. And Ky legends Hall of Fame. He was a Huge UK and Green Bay Packers Fan. He loved to tell stories and some where even true. Joe loved to go to Kansas Hunting and Fishing and going on soft ball trips that while coaching sometimes he got to stay in the game if the umpire was in a good mood. He Retired from International Harvester. He attended St. Denis in his younger years and maintained the ball field. He is now a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church. The family would like to thank, Dr. Don Stevens, Kris, Marie, Becky for their care to Joe. His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 11am at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Hwy with Cremation to follow. His Visitation will be held on Friday at Heady Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy from 2-8pm at the funeral home. In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to Hospice or Shirley’s Way.
