Bryant, Joe, 89, went to be with his Heavenly Father on December 27, 2016. Joe was a loving husband, father, and brother. He retired from the U.S. Coast Guard and was Director of Operations for Burger King. Joe was a member of the Masonic Lodge #862. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf, and “making up songs”.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Rogers; siblings, Virginia Bryant, Ernest Bryant, Roy Bryant, Elmer Bryant, Edgar Bryant Jr., and William Bryant.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Betty Bryant; his children, Gregg Bryant (Sue), Angela Houchens; his sister, Emma Jean Brookshire; and his brother, Walter Bryant (Sue).
A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 10:00am at Evergreen Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00pm - 8:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home.
