She was born to the late Ruth and Raymond Mattingly. Her husband, George Davis and three grandchildren, Melanie Sharp, Alex and Christopher Craven, also preceded her in passing.
Jo Anne had a kind soul and never met a stranger. Her love for people is what started her career in Hotel Hospitality. Jo Anne was the manager of hotel reservations for The Executive Inn and loved her job. After retirement Jo Anne would go out with her lunch bunch, these ladies were referred to as "The Girls"; Linda B., Joy B., Peggy B., Barbara B., Betty C., Joyce F., Susie M., Deb M., Pat T., Joyce W. and Janet W. and The Sisters"; Betty C., Jane G., and Teri W. These ladies will forever cherish the time they spent together. Not only did Jo Anne love her lunch bunch, Derby season was her favorite time of year! All of the beautiful flowers, colors, and wonderfully dressed people. Jo Anne lived her life full of happiness, some of her happiest times were traveling with her daughter watching the grandchildren play volleyball. Her family was her pride and joy.
Here to carry on her memory is her children; Leigh Anne Craven (Chuck) and Tim Davis, grandchildren; Charles "Chase" Craven (Keshia), Jennifer Craven (Jess), and Kaitlin Cundiff (Cory), six great-grandchildren; Emerson Craven, Trey Craven, Connor Craven, Jax Craven, Conway Cundiff and Cameron Cundiff, along with a host of extended family and friends. A special thanks to Hosparus of Louisville, for their kindness and support.
