OBITUARY

Jessica Renee Lardon

December 16, 1990 – October 11, 2023
Obituary of Jessica Renee Lardon
IN THE CARE OF

Arch L. Heady at Resthaven & Resthaven Memorial Park

Jessica “Jessi” Renee (Wood) Lardon, age 32, left this world too soon on October 11, 2023.

Jessi was born in Indianapolis, IN on December 16, 1990 to Jeff and Kim Wood.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lillian Renee Lardon; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Gorrell; paternal grandparents, Reavely and Vangeline Wood, Jr.; second mother, Rosie Wood and paternal uncle, Reavely W. Wood, III.

Jessi leaves to cherish her memory, her children RJ and Jaynee; husband, Ronald Lardon; parents, Jeff Wood and Kim Wood; maternal grandfather, Kenny Gorrell; aunts, Bobbie Gorrell and Kelly Miller; cousins,Ryan, Shane and Justin Miller; uncles and extended friends and family.

Jessi’s most important thing in life were her children, RJ and Jaynee. She was a wonderful and dedicated mother that ALWAYS put her children, their care, and wellbeing first. She provided a loving and stable home, in which her children thrived. She had a calm about her, but could be a fierce “Mama Bear” when it concerned her children. She lived every second for her children, and was the brightest smile in any room, and really never met a stranger. Her love and warmth covered her in a warm glow that made everyone feel welcomed and cared for.

She was the greatest source of love and pride for her parents, she was a wonderful daughter that helped her parents in any way that she could.

She was a devoted wife, mother and a child of God. Words truly cannot express her unique love and compassion that she gave to all.

Jessi had a heart of gold, she was honest, loyal, empathetic and sympathetic. She was an avid animal lover. That started at a very young age when she went to Hawaii and got to pet and swim with dolphins which reinforced her love for animals even more. In her adult years she was an extremely talented pet groomer.

Her big beautiful eyes, heart melting smile and infectious laugh will be forever missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests donations for Jessi’s children.
