He was a retired Lieutenant with the Kentucky State Police.
Jerry was also a Marine veteran of Viet Nam and a member of the Okolona VFW Post 8639.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Rich; three daughters, Amy McCorkle, Brandy McMillen (Lamont) and Sabrina Gagliardi (Brandon); three grandchildren, Isaiah McMillen (Victoria), Alyssa Gagliardi, and Anthony Gagliardi; four great-grandchildren, Aniyah Mitchell, Alayah Brown, Kamari Mitchell-Hellman, and Ella Faye McMillen; and a sister, Janet Sauter.
Military honors will be rendered at 7pm on Friday, November 29th at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be Friday from 2pm until the honors.
Cremation was chosen.
