Jennifer Lynn Orthober

Jennifer Lynn Orthober, 71 of Louisville, KY passed away on February 1, 2021. She was born on November 26, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Richard Allen Morrison & Helen Marie Sackl Morrison. Jennifer is also preceded in death by her loving husband and soulmate of 41 years, Donald R. Orthober.

Jennifer received her Bachelors in Education from Western Kentucky University. Jennifer enjoyed reading, sewing, crafting, bible studies, and puzzles. Her greatest joy came from being a devoted Christian and loving wife, mom and Nana to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Donita McPherson (Christopher), Shawn Orthober (Jenifer) and Jessica Rozia (Moshe); siblings, Ronald Morrison (Marilyn), Patricia Byers (Ronald), Cindy Correll, James Morrison (Cindy); grandchildren, Ashton Orthober, Alayna Orthober, Lily Orthober, Ella Grace McPherson, Luke McPherson, Taylor McPherson and Benjamin Rozia.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218). A virtual service to honor the life of Jennifer will follow at 2 p.m. on Friday. To participate virtually, visit our Facebook page “Arch L.
