Jeffrey Woodcox

Jeffrey A. Woodcox, (61), of Louisville, Kentucky fought his battle against cancer for four years with grace, humor and grit. However, he passed away and went home to be with the Lord on Feb 1 , 2024, surrounded by friends and family.

Jeff was born to Jerry and Wanda Woodcox, on July 16th, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a loyal and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and son. Jeff was a talented entrepreneur with humble beginnings as a painter who touched many lives over the years. It was a painting job that brought Jeff to Oklahoma, City where he met his high school sweetheart and love of his live, Kerry. They were married in 1980 and began a family.

He was a hard worker with a fascination with numbers and managed to pass all his entrepreneurial wisdom on to his kids. He was fiercely loyal and incredibly generous to others.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kerry, and three children, Josh Woodcox, Brea Hellard(Michael), and Destinee Wilson(Adam). Additionally, he was a doting grandfather of 5: Issac Hellard, Cole Cornett, Arya Wilson, Kyla Wilson and Ezra Wilson. He is also survived by his sister, Shelley Massa(Mike), and brothers, Jerry(Vicki) and Paul(Sherry), and Father, Jerry. Jeff was predeceased in death by his mother, Wanda.

Aside from his love for business and family, Jeff loved to share the good news of the Gospel to any who would listen. Jeff’s humor and love positively impacted our community, and he will be truly missed.

A visitation for Jeff will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218 on February 8, 2024 from 11AM to 2PM. A funeral service will follow at 2PM in the funeral home chapel. Jeff will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.
