Jay L. Morris

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Brenda Morris; and sister, Janet Pierce.

Mr. Morris is a United States Army veteran and a member of Evangel World Prayer Center.

He is survived by his children, Sandra Jones (Billy), Dewey Miller, Angel Miller and Tina Sanders; grandchildren, Robert Maupin (Dezeria), Jennifer Jones, Kristen Jones, Sierra Miller, Eli Bates, Savannah Bates, Shane Miller and Jeremy Miller; great-grandchildren, Nolan Maupin, Revvi Prather, Jayden Hamilton, Jeremiah Elder, Bailey Barrett and Jonah Miller; siblings, Judy Rasner (Depp), Jerry Morris (Barbara) and Jeanette Yeast (Scott); and several nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on May 20, 2024 at Evergreen Funeral Home with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 2 pm until 8 pm and Monday from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
