Janette S. Booth

She graduated from Ahrens Trade High School and was a member of Highland Post, Moose Lodge #5, and sang in the choir for Virginia Ave Methodist Church. She was a secretary at L&N Railroad for many years.

Janette enjoyed visiting and spending time with family and friends. She loved to have fun going out and dancing and just having a chance to be social. Janette loved any and all animals and had many furry friends through her life. She will be so greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Janene Booth; sister, Louise Hall (Robert); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Janette was preceded in passing by her parents; and 2 brothers, James Smith and Kenneth Smith, Sr.

A funeral service in Janette’s honor will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 1 PM, in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Visitation will take place on Monday before the time of the service, from 11 AM to 1 PM. She will be entombed at Resthaven Memorial Park following the service.
