Janet A. Sweeney, 81, got her wings Wednesday, December 11, 2019 and went home. She is once again with the love of her life, her husband. As many know this is hard for the family at this time. She was a great and strong woman. She was a mother, a wife, a grandmother, and a great grandmother. Everyone loved and cared for her…she will always be remembered by everyone. She is not here in person but she is here in spirit and will watch over the family as she did for many years.
Janet is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Sweeney; parents, Thomas and Anita Dunphy; son in law, Carroll Wayne Lyons; brother in law, Barry Totten.
Left to cherish Janet’s memory are her 2 beautiful and strong daughters, Patti Jo Lyons, Cheryl A. Winsor; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Darlene C Totten; and Holly.
The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 2:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Memorial Chapel with visitation from 12:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Following she will be placed next to her husband in Evergreen Cemetery. Anyone and everyone is more than welcome to come.
