Janet Louise Hayes, 83, of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday March 14,2017 in Kindred Hospital. She was born in Adair Co. KY to Walter and Margaret (DeHart) Murrell. She was married to Charles L Hayes; he preceded her in death.
Janet worked at Peyton's as an inventory clerk, where she retired.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Bowling; son, David (Cathy) Hayes; sister Ruth Ann Hoskins; 4 grandchildren, Melinda; Stacey, Andrew and CJ as well as 2 great-grandchildren, Kelsie and Brielle.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband Charles and her grandson Gregory.
Services for Janet will be held at 2 PM on Saturday March 18, 2017 at advantage Funeral Home - Hardy Chapel, with cremation to follow.
Friends and family may visit from 11-2 on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
