Jane D. Wilson

Jane D. Wilson, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022. She was born February 21, 1947, the daughter of Laverne Burrows, a foreign service officer and his wife, Helen Douglas Burrows, a WWII Marine Veteran. Jane grew up and went to college in Europe as well as Virginia. Her first career was as a stewardess for Pan Am and crewed intentional flights and she later went on to work for AT&T as a Project Manager. Throughout her lifetime, she resided in many cities, and when she married Bernard “Skip” Wilson, then they eventually settled in Louisville.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She is survived by one sister: Peggy Burrows, three nephews: Michael Burrows, Frank Wilson (Dawn), and David Wilson, sister in laws: Wendy Cioffi and Jane Wilson.

A celebrate of life will be held at 4 PM on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven funeral Home (4400 Bardstown road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218).

Visitation will be from 12 PM until service time of 4 PM on Monday, January 31 2022 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial donations be made to Louisville Metro Animal Service or Kentucky Humane Society.
