WOOSLEY, JAMES RUSSELL SR., 90, passed away Monday November 14, 2011.
Born in Ready-Grayson, KY, Russ was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and retired from Tube Turns Inc. after more than 30 years of service. He was also a life member of VFW Pleasure Valley Post 1181.
Russ is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Dorothy Ann Woosley; children, James R. Woosley Jr. (Gloria), Gina Apple (Bill), Micki Mikesell (Johnny), Ted Woosley, Lisa Woosley, Jami Davis (Pat), and Staci Woosley (Clint); grandchildren Jami, Samantha, Tony, John Jr., Ted and Courtney; five great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A service honoring the life of Russ will be held noon Thursday at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
