James Timothy Winebrenner

James Timothy Winebrenner, Sr. passed peacefully on August 28, 2023. Mr. Winebrenner was born on October 13, 1941 in Louisville to the late Mary (Sullivan) and George Winebrenner, Sr. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth (Merrifield) Winebrenner and his siblings Helen Ries,Leo and Johnny Winebrenner.

Mr. Winebrenner was the owner and operator of A & W Roofing. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish and a resident at Forest Hills Commons.

He is survived by his children, Tammy Peake (Steve), Cathy Michels (Wayne), Debbie Jaha (Jimmy), J.T. Winebrenner (Carrie), Greg Winebrenner (Bethany) and Chris Winebrenner (Amanda); grandchildren, Steven Peake, Ashley Williams (Payton), Kelli Bruce (Sean), Holly Exley (Chris), Jenna Bullis (Wesley), Heather Michels (Evan Thomas), Tiffany Grasch (Ashley), Alexis, Kaylea, Caleb and Sam Winebrenner; great grandsons, Jace Exley and Owen Williams; brother, George Winebrenner; sister, Bridget Jones; his canine companion, Buddy; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 10 am at Arch L Heady at Resthaven 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, Ky 40218 followed with interment at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 3 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
