James Drane Williams

Williams, James Drane, 85, entered into eternal rest on August 12, 2014. Jim graduated from Manual High School where he was a cheerleader and later graduated from the University of Louisville. He served in the United States Air Force and retired after 43 years from Henry Vogt Machine Company.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Patterson Williams and grandson, Christopher Hale.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 18 years, Linda; daughters, Debbie (Duray) Hale and Terrie (Chris) Williams Maron of Apollo Beach Florida; step-son, Steve (Claire) Gaffney; grandchildren, Jason (Stephanie) Hale, Kristen (Scott) Duncan, and Hunter Chase Townsend; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Nancy; and step-granddaughters, Katie (Rico) Escudero and Stephanie Gaffney.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home on Saturday at noon. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment at Evergreen Cemetery.
