He was a Navy veteran and a retired Diebold First Line Technician, was a member of the Boaz Masonic Lodge and the Kopsair Shrine Clown Unit.
Jim is survived by his wife of 18 years, Cathie Williams, children, Michelle Knight (Steven), Wendy Brauer (Joe), Monica Proasi (John), and Tony Proasi (Leslie), siblings, Andrea Estes, David Williams, Ricky Williams, Jerry Wooldridge and Lynn Wooldridge. Seven grandchildren, Megan, Zoey, John, Luke, Zaya, Zeanna and Aiden.
A funeral service to celebrate Jim’s life will be conducted at 12 noon Friday, March 7, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Guests are invited to attend a visitation starting at 11 am the day of the service.
