Wade, Jr., James Edward, 60, entered into eternal rest on January 12, 2018. A native Louisvillian, Jim graduated from Fairdale High School and earned a business degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. He was also a veteran and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
As a skilled collision technician, Jim worked and managed several shops in the area before achieving his dream of owning his own shop - Bluegrass Collision Center on Dixie Highway.
Jim had an adventurous spirit which allowed him to enjoy riding his Harleys and attending Biketoberfest with his wife and friends in Daytona, FL each year. Among Jim's other adventures he was able to drive a NASCAR three times at 185 mph at Daytona and Talladega Motor Speedways. He also did two skydiving jumps with his wife and two children. He owned a boat and enjoyed relaxing weekends at the lake camping with his family and best friends.
Although he was a free spirit, Jim found the most pleasure in simple gatherings of family and friends where he could remember the good times and sing karaoke.
He was a hardworking dedicated man of faith, honor, morality, and integrity who always went the extra mile to help others and provide for his family.
Left to cherish Jim's memory include his wife of 32 years, Donna; his daughter, Melissa
Dunbar (Adam); son, Michael Wade; granddaughter, Preslee Dunbar; sisters, Robin
Wade (Steve), Linda Hessig (Rick), Judy Wade, Cindy May (Jack); 4 nieces and 7 nephews.
