Tedder, James M. “Pops”, 61, of Shively, Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, & friend, passed peacefully from this life on Friday June 8, 2012 at his home. He was a former employee of American Standard, Lear Seating Co. a JCPS employee, a 1969 graduate of duPont Manual High School, an avid UK fan & golfer, and a member of Emmanuel Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, James W., & Dorothy Singer Tedder; and a sister, Vivian Craven. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years the former Donna Beams; his devoted daughter and son in-law, Tracy and Don Bradley; loving grandson, Armande “Little Man”Bradley; siblings, William & Larry Tedder, Marshall Tedder (Susie), Linda Leasor, Viola McGee, and Stanley Tedder (Laura); many devoted cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, including his adored pets, “Tabby”, “Blade” and “Trinity”. A service to celebrate Jimmy’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
