Jim was retired from CSX Railroad after 20 years of service, where he worked as a machinist. He was also a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, in his later years, he became a golf enthusiast, he loved to play and watch on TV.
His wife, Rosie, daughter, Janet, sisters, Martha, Delores, Shirley, brothers, Wayne and Timmy preceded Jim In death.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Kevin Harley(Tracy), daughter, Missy Harley, stepson, John White, grandchildren, Jessica Hay(Eric), Taylor Brown(Courtney) and Miranda Harley; great grandchildren, Bradley, Ava, Elizabeth, Ellanore, Eloise and Tommy; brothers, Tommy, Ricky, Darrell, sisters; Charlotte, Joyce, Wanda and Mary Rose and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, October 2, 2023 from 12-8pm and Tuesday October 3, 2023 from 9am until time of funeral service at 11:30am at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home-Okolona, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, Kentucky 40219. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
