James T. Jackson, Sr., passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the VA Medical Center.
Mr. Jackson was retired from the US Army; a member of the King Tyree Masonic Lodge, and a member of Bates Memorial Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children Robert Graves, Avery Graves, James Jackson Jr, Jacqueline Jackson, Nicole Arnold, Troy Smith, and Stephanie Jackson; seven sisters; three brothers; 32 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Laura Jackson (Henry) and father Robert L. Rives (Carrie).
His funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Friday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service on Friday.
