James D. Franklin 90 of Clifton Heights, passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2011. He was born August 9, 1921 in Metcalf, KY to the late, Woody T. and Effie Franklin. He was a veteran of the US Army, and was retired from L.G.E. He was a member of Crescent Hill United Methodist Ch.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Minnie Davis Franklin. His daughters; Stacy Cowles, Debbie Guillaume (Bub), and Roberta Zimmerman (Rick). His 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
A service to celebrate James life will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle, 2428 Frankfort Ave. with burial at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-8 pm Monday. Expressions are requested to memorial fund of his church.
