James J. Cook, born July 25, 1924 passed away February 26, 2017. He was a retired truck driver for the United States Government, based at Fort Knox in Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his parents, John J. and Rosalee Cook.
He is survived by three sons, Michael (Diana), Carlos (Pamela), and Terry (Ashley Antique), 5 Grandchildren. 10 Great-Grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
He is an Army WWII Veteran and a member of the Shively VFW.
Visitation will be at the advantage Funeral Home- Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Highway on Wednesday March 1, 2017 from 3 PM to 8 PM. Funeral Service Thursday March 2, 2017 10AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery.
