James Bradley

James F. Bradley 87 of Louisville passed peacefully away Sunday at his residence. He was a member of South Jefferson Christian Church and a Lifetime member of the American Legion. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He retired from Fort Knox as a Federal Firefighter, he also retired from Baptist East Hospital a security officer.

James was a skilled craftsman who enjoyed building things with wood. He was a writer and an artist. James was a loving husband, dedicated father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gladys Bradley. He leaves to cherish his memory his family and friends. He is survived by his Son; Wayne Bradley, Daughters; Trudy Singleton and Sherry Kopp, 6 grand children, 4 great grand children, and 1 great great grandchild.

A celebration of his life will be held at 12:00pm Thursday at South Jefferson Christian Church, 6500 Orell Road. Burial will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00pm till 8:00pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. and after 11:00 am Thursday at the church.
