James E. Bennett, 77, of Louisville, passed away October 9, 2011.
Mr. Bennett was a paint mixer with Porter Paint Company, having retired after 37 years of service.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jo Ann Witt, Betty Mills-Strong "Twiggy," Linda Poffinberger, Wilma Atkisson, James Bennett Jr., Janet Foster "Little Red" and Michael Bennett; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be noon on Thursday at Evergreen Funeral Home with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
