James loved being outdoors, he tried to catch the sunrise every morning. He enjoyed watching all sports, but most importantly University of Kentucky basketball. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and cousin.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Harrell Beckham; grandparents, BC and Versie Kirby; grandmother, Ruby Parker; niece, Angela Monroe; and uncle, Melvin Kirby.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Shirley Beckham; sisters, Carmen Mills, Ruby Beckham (Dino), Pattie Gaddie (Jamie), Rebecca Smith (Ronald); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation for James will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024 from 10am - 1:30pm at Advantage Funeral Home - Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272. Funeral Service will be at 1:30pm with a burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
