I am a nephew of Jacqueline. She was one of 3 daughters of my uncle and aunt René & Martha De Block - Vlaemynck, living in province Hainaut-Belgium (village Ressaix). I am living in Flanders = dutch speaking part of Belgium. Would like to come in contact with descendants of Jacqueline (and her sister Claire) both emigrated after ww2 from village Ressaix (Wallonia, Belgium) to Kentucky. ww2.

I have also known daughter Yvette and husband Gustave. Yvette died  very young. Cancer i believe. I am living in Flanders Belgium, son of late Zulma De Block, married Jozef De Backer, both died at the age of 96 and 71 years. The name of my mothers brother was René, married Martha Vlaemynck. They had 3 daughters, Claire, Jacqueline and Yvette. I have know Yvette and at the funeral of my uncle René, i have seen both american daughters Jacqueline and Claire. Since then no further news. I remember mother Martha leaved Belgium (Wallonia) and joined daughters family in the States. Would like to come in contact with descendants. Also looking to come in contact with descendants of Romanie De Block, oldest of the family and emigrated with family to region Logan in Canada (nieces and cousins of Claire and Jacqueline).

Missy, Brian, and family....I am very saddened by the passing of Aunt Jacqueline. She, with her amazing sense of humor touched my life in a way that remains with me to this day. She was a mentor to me at a very young age and I have missed her for a very long time. She was truly a very beautiful person.

Your voice and beautiful face are sprinkled through the memories of my childhood and are part of my Belgian indentity that I hold so very dear.  I want to thank you for your name that I lovingly gave to my daughter; she is so proud to be called Jacqueline.  Though you are no longer here with us, I find joy in knowing you are now with all those that you had loved and lost.  I pray that your amazing family is comforted with this same truth.

Very sorry to hear of this. I remember Jackie as a very nice lady who lived next door to me on Sunday Drive for a few years. I'm sure she will be missed by many.
