Irene Manning

She was a bus monitor with the Laurel County Board of Education. While living in Louisville, she worked for the State of Kentucky as an administrative assistant in a social workers office.

She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and other game shows, listening to music, making sure everyone was well fed (especially babies and puppies), giving gifts, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family. She was fluent in Ukrainian and enjoyed conversing with her family members when she had the opportunity.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Basil and Taisa Gural and her grandparents, Andrew and Anastasia Zabihailo.

Irene is survived by her husband, Kenneth Manning, their children, Brian Manning (Carrie) and Rita Morgan (Tyler), grandchildren, Kenny Lee Manning, Jacob Morgan, and Makenna Morgan, her brother, Victor Gural (Pam), and several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends whom she loved dearly.

A visitation will be held from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Arch L. Heady - Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave., Louisville KY 40206.

A funeral service will follow at 12:30 pm. Interment will take place immediately following the funeral at Cave Hill Cemetery.
