Imogene Locke

Imogene Wilkerson Locke, 90, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Westminster Terrace. She was born in London KY on August 26, 1925 to the late Andrew and Minerva Adams Wilkerson. Imogene worked as a librarian with Butler High School for 26 years; she was a member of Southeast Christian and a proud participant of her Bible study group for 7 years. She loved to cook, shop and sew but most importantly, she was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Julian L. Locke.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Cynthia Watts (Neill) and Deborah Brooks (Ray), two grandchildren; Lorie Sewell (Josh) and Matthew Brooks (Lori), four great grandchildren; Harper, Emerson, Ryder and Joanna.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 3, 2016 at noon in Arch L Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with private interment in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Wednesday March 2, 2016 from 4-8 at the funeral home and Thursday from 10 am until the time of service at noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
