Ima Jean Hansell

Ima Jean Hansell, 92, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born in Springfield, Ohio to the late Raymond and Irene Powers. Ima was an avid Ohio State fan and she loved to bowl.

Her husband Joseph W. Hansell Jr. and brother, Gerald Powers, precede Ima in death.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, John Hansell(Saundra), Terry Hansell(Barbara), Debbie Woods(Stephen), Randy Hansell(Annette); grandchildren, Eric Hansell(Melissa), Sean Hansell(Lisa), Ryan Hansell, Stephanie Goodman, Bryce Hansell(Brittany); great grandchildren, Brianna Meredith, Gracie Goodman, Caitlen, Haleigh, Hannah, Hope, and a host of many other family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, KY 40219 with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
