Howard was a proud retired Sergeant First Class for the US Army. He served for 22 years and was a Purple Heart recipient.
He is survived by his children Sandy Cook (Jimmy), Rebecca Delaney (Scott), Beth Blair (Charlie), John Hutchinson (Tami), and Nathan Hutchinson (Stephanie); siblings, Gloria, Darlene, Elizabeth, and Danny; grandchildren, Stephanie, Alyssa, Chance, and Izabella; and great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Natalie, and Avery.
His funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm Monday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Sunday.
