Hilda Marie Scott, age 93, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, November 04, 2020. She was born to the late Ida and Jake Young in 1927. Mrs. Scott worked at Armour and Company and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 2023. Hilda was a skilled bowler with a high score of 246, was an expert gardener, an excellent chef, an avid Braves and UK Wildcats fan and a perfect grandmother.
Hilda is preceded in passing by her five brothers and four sisters.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 65 years, Jesse Scott, daughter; Pat (Butch) Hodges, grandchildren; Angelia (Stephen) Zeller, Jackie (James) Hodges, Lance (Stephanie) Hodges, great grandchildren; Dylan Hodges, Devan Hodges, Jade Wallace and Sam Zeller.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 4-7pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 10am with a burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
