Helen Virginia Reyer, 76, passed away Monday, January 21, 2013 at Baptist Palliative Care.
Born on July 16, 1936 in Madison Co., Alabama to the late Arie Newton and Jennie Druscilla Malone Reyer. Virginia was a member of East Audubon Baptist Church, a retired Nursing Assistant from Baptist Hospital East, and a wonderful wife, mom and mamaw.
Her husband of 49 years, Billy Hemphill precedes her in death.
Left to carry on her memory are her son, Ricky Hemphill Sr. (Margaret “Esta”); daughter, Carolyn Lewis; six grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
A service to celebrate the life of Virginia will be at 2 pm Friday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Entombment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-8 pm Thursday.
