Helen V. Fisher

She was born March 6, 1920 to Thomas Fidelis and Allie Virginia (Lamie) Ferriell. After graduating from Louisville Girls High School she became a home maker for her husband and five children. She was active with the Okolona Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Her fondest memories besides her family were neighbors both in Louisville and their Nolan Lake camp which they enjoyed for 40+ years.

She was a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church and was still a member of the St. Rita's Lively Hearts Seniors. Her devotion to the rosary and the Eucharist was evident throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her wonderful husband of 69 years, Walter Edwin Fisher; her two daughters, Mary Katherine "Kathy" Adams and Barbara Ann "Bobbi" Rausch; her brothers, Thomas Justin "TJ," William Joseph "Bill," Joseph Edwin "Ed" and Joseph Augusta "Gus"; and sisters, Mary Elizabeth "Libby" and Lucille Mary "Cile." She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Walter Anthony (Donna), Thomas Wayne (Sharon) and Larry Joseph (Kathryn); 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
