Harry Oscar Mindel, 93, peacefully returned to his Heavenly Father, Monday, May 29, 2017. He was born to the late Oscar and Rosa Mindel Sr. in Louisville, Kentucky. Harry was a proud Army WWII Veteran, a member of Manslick Road Church of Christ, and was retired from International Harvester where he was a metal pattern maker. After Harry retired, he enjoyed refinishing pieces of furniture for friends and family. He was preceded in death by his bothers, Max, twin brother Hershel, Val and Oscar Jr. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 67 yrs. Marjorie Tash Mindel; children, David Mindel(Olivia) and Carolyn Mindel; grandchildren, Jesse(Kelly), Erica(Ben), Sunny(Lee), and nine great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son FH. 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, KY 40219 with Interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
