Our father, Harold Thomas Tyree, went to Heaven to join our mother, Mary Janet Maupin Tyree for eternity. He was a member of IBEW 369 for 50 years and was an avid golfer. Along with our mother, he was preceded in death by his parents, Lem Shaw Tyree and Evelyn Isabel Tyree and his brother, Warner Edward Tyree.
He is survived by his children, Debbie & Dave Goldsmith, Kenny & Susan Tyree, Tish Tyree Hamilton, Bobby Tyree & Margie Ludwig and Susie & Robert Siler. Also, surviving him are his 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. His sister, and brother in-law, Lois and William “Bounce” Basham also survive him, along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place from 2-8pm on Thursday, April 26th at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A service celebrating Harold’s life will take place at 10am on Friday, April 27th at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
