Phillips, Harold "Jim" Sr., 74, passed away January 28, 2017. Jim was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, enjoyed playing the trumpet, playing tennis, reading his Bible, and exploring nature trails.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Callie Phillips.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 52 years, JoAnn Phillips; children, Harold "Jimmy" Phillips Jr. (Susan) and Lisa Larkins (Danny); grandchildren, Holly Phillips and Joshua Phillips; and aunt, Mattie Montgomery.
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 10 am at Blessed Teresa Church, 903 Fairdale Road, with entombment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 pm- 8pm at Evergreen Funeral Home.
