Goldie was the daughter of the late Jack Albert and Mary Elizabeth Vaught. She is survived by her brother, Robert Vaught, and was preceded in death by her loving twin brother Vola Vaught, Sam Vaught, Herbert Vaught, Omer Vaught, Hobert Vaught and Jack Vaught.
She will forever be cherished by her three devoted sons, Jess Priddy Sr, Dale Priddy (Cara), Noah Priddy Jr (Sherry), and her beloved daughter, Jackie Roselle (Tony). Through her nurturing love, she instilled in them values of kindness, perseverance, and compassion. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Her career included working in the school cafeteria followed by the operation of her own cleaning business until retirement. Her most cherished role was that of a devoted mother and grandmother. Her entire life was a testament to the loyalty and boundless love she held for her children and family.
A long-standing member of Hiawatha Missionary Baptist Church, her faith and love for the Lord was a guiding light in her life.
Goldie Jean Priddy's warm smile, unwavering love, and compassionate heart will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hiawatha Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Don Hay officiating, 1224 Becker Ave., Louisville, Kentucky 40213. Burial will follow in the Garden of Angels of Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 2:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Home and then again on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Hour at the Hiawatha Missionary Baptist Church.
