Gloria Mae Peterson, 83, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017. She was born in Minnesota on May 28, 1934 to the late Walter Ford and Leonora Ford (Lubinski). She is also preceded in death by a sister; Esther Katsch.
Gloria leaves behind her husband of nearly 61 years, Raymond Peterson; children, Raymond W. Peterson, Alexis Peterson, and Steve Peterson (Kimberly); 3 grandchildren, Maverick Peterson, Derek Peterson, Angelea Peterson; and a sister, Susan Duffney.
Gloria was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church for over fifty years. She enjoyed all activities that allowed her to be outdoors, especially gardening and camping. She was a passionate reader and could often be found with a Preston Child book. She loved her cats, and any movie that Randolph Scott was in.
A Funeral Mass will be held for Gloria on Monday February 13, 2017 at 10 am at St. Edward Catholic Church, 9608 Sue Helen Dr. Louisville, KY. 40299. Burial will follow the Funeral Mass at 1 pm at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, 2501 Dixie Hwy Fort Knox, KY. 40121.
