When Trudy was just 16 years old, she was bumped into by the love of her life, David Wetmore, at a skating rink in Elizabethtown. They wasted no time in getting married and starting a family. Trudy loved being a military wife and traveling the world.
She was met at the gates of Heaven by her parents, grandparents, siblings, and many family and friends.
Trudy leaves behind her loving husband of 67 years David Wetmore, three children, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and siblings.
She also leaves many additional Family and friends.
A funeral for Trudy will be held on Sunday at 2:00pm at Advantage Funeral Home (10907 Dixie Highway) with a private burial at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00pm until the 2:00pm service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Trudy's memory to Kentucky Humane Society or Hosparus Health.
