Born to the late Edward Harbeson and Lois Eve Sturgeon. Gertrude is also preceded in passing by her husband, Ronald Lee Rodgers, and son-in-laws, Roy Beeler and Don Noe. Here to carry on her memory are her daughters, Vickey Beeler, Teresa Collins and Rhonda Noe; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Gertrude will always be remembered as an adoring mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a life-long member of Carlisle Baptist Church, and her favorite hobbies were reading, completing word searches, and bowling.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 27th at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 4018, from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. A funeral service in Gertrude’s honor will take place Monday, December 28th at the funeral home at 2:00 pm. Gertrude will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
