Jerry retired from GE after 32 years of service. He was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church and he loved to fish.
His parents, William and Lillie Stivers and his sister, Shirlene Bray preceded Jerry in death.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of fifty- four years, Emogene, children, Monica, Anita, Jeannine, Eric, Gerald Jr. and Judy; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, brothers, Darcy, Terry and Donnie Stivers; sister, Valerie Sue and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 10am-2pm with a service at 2pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home-Okolona, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, Kentucky 40219.
