Corbin, Georgia “Georgie”, 75, passed away December 17, 2016. She was a loving mother and grandmother with a big heart and was everybody’s best friend. Georgia was a former employee of Tasty Cookie and General Electric and loved to travel, especially to the beach.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Opil Corbin Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kim Simmons (Danny) and Lisa Richards (Darrell), grandsons, Travis Simmons (Ashely) and Cody Richards; great-granddaughter, Kaylynn Simmons; sister, Helen Joann Lush; nieces, Patti, Karen, and Cathy; cousin who was like her daughter, Pam Taylor; stepchildren, Caran Amshoff (Tom), Opil Corbin Jr. (Helena), and Cathy Henderson; and several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 12 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 pm-8 pm and Wednesday from 9 am-12 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
