George was retired from GE and also a retired Fire chief From Ferncreek fire Department of 30 years.
George is survived by his son, James Vogel(Laura); and a granddaughter, Katniss Vogel.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.
A private service will follow.
