George Middleton Goetz, 90, of Louisville passed away December 15, 2011. He was born on March 4, 1921 in Eminence, Kentucky to the late George Goetz and Mae Kistner Goetz Morgan. He was a tool and die maker and supervisor throughout his career. He was a member of the Cooper Memorial United Methodist Church and a Mason for over 50 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Rebecca “Becky” Edwards Goetz; three children, Bob (Lynne) Goetz, Cheryl McCoy and Marcia (Bob) Linders; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A celebration of his life will be conducted Monday, December 19, 2011 at noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:30-7:30 on Sunday and from 11 until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
