George R. Bennett

George served his country in the Army during the Korean War. His memberships include St. Rita Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Moose Lodge #5, Teamsters Union Local #89.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Theresa L. Bennett.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife: Elizabeth (Pan) Bennett; his daughters, Teri Bennett Ash and Donna Collins (Joe); his step children, Linda Hartung (Mark), Michael Davis (Kathy) and Nan Schlindwien (Tom); a brother, Charles K. Bennett (Jean); grandchildren, Nicholas and Evan Ash, Conner Ledington, Katelyn, Sarah, Nick and Ben Collins, Christian and Ashley Edington, Jason and Jennifer Davis, Whitney and Allison Hartung.

Mass of Christian burial 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rita Catholic Church 8709 Preston Hwy with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home 8519 Preston Hwy on Monday from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m.
