Geneva "Ginny" R. Hughes

Geneva "Ginny" R. Hughes, age 83, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Hyden, KY and Hazard KY, passed away on March 11, 2016. She is predeceased by her husband, Arthur A. Hughes, Sr., her son, Johney Lee Hughes, and her sister, Mary Virginia Couch.

Geneva is survived by her children, Arthur A. (Caren) Hughes, Jr. and Steven R. (Donna) Hughes, Sr.; grandchildren, Steven (Tatyana) Hughes, Jr, Christopher J. Hughes, Jessica Bell and Tracie (Drew) Walker; great-grandchildren, Sofia Hughes and Sarah Bell; and sister, Sue Ellen Rader.

A Celebration of Ginny’s Life will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 at 2 PM at Arch L. Heady Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, KY. Family and friends are welcome to visit, at the funeral home, from 10:30 AM until the time of service.
