Garo is survived by his brothers Krekor and Armen Sampadian; and his NeuroRestorative family. He is preceded in death by his father Edward Sampadian; his mother Josephine (Clifford) Arnold; and his brother Edward Sampadian.
Garo began his earthly journey on July 26, 1954 in Sanford, FL. He always saw life as an adventure and continuously took on new challenges. He was a licensed electrician, a small plane pilot, and a dive master in scuba. His passion for karate earned him the highest level of achievement, a black belt. Garo also had a loving enthusiasm for classic rock music. He was an avid drummer and played in several rock bands over the years. Our friend Garo lived his life taking advice from one of his favorite bands, Lynyrd Skynyrd: “Take your time, don’t live too fast. Troubles will come and they will pass.” Garo was a loving and caring inspiration, who always put others’ thoughts and needs before his own. His family and friends will always remember him as a man that could succeed at anything he put his mind to, and as a man who poured his heart and soul into putting others at ease and making them smile. We will always remember his joyful smirk as he teased and joked with us.
Our good friend Garo was a free spirit, for whom life was a unique journey, and we, his Neuro Family, consider ourselves lucky that his path led to us and we are better people for having know him.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home 7410 Westport Road, Louisville, KY 40222. A memorial service to celebrate Garo’s life will immediately follow visitation.
Garo’s NeuroRestorative family would like to thank Hosparus of Louisville for the compassion and support they have shown the past month.
