He was a retired dentist who practiced dentistry in Louisville for his entire working life. He served in the US Army during World War II, reaching the rank of captain.
Survivors are one brother, Kenneth M. Schuppert Sr. of Paducah, KY; his niece Caren Nichter of Louisville; niece, Melissa Kuehnl of Columbus, OH; nephew, Scott Schuppert of Richmond, VA; nephew, David Hassenpflug of Roanoke, VA; niece, Alice Kay Hassenpflug of Jacksonville, FL; nephew, Kenneth M. Schuppert Jr. of Decatur, AL; nephew, Henry C. Schuppert of Chicago, IL; and nephew, David C. Schuppert of West Palm Beach, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank A. Schuppert Sr. and Minna W. Schuppert; brother, Raymond A. Schuppert; and sister, Irma C. Chaudoin.
Graveside service and burial will be at St. Stephens Cemetery, 1808 South Preston Street, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2011.
